Cambridge International AS & A Level Mathematics - Further (9231) Tuition

Cambridge International A Level Advanced Mathematics develops and extends the transferable process. These include skills to think critically and independently, consider facts, make mathematical models, analyze results, and reason findings, as well as skills to process mathematical information.

Students can apply their skills in a wide variety of subjects, placing them well for advancement to higher education or direct employment. Some universities prefer Mathematics and Mathematics/Science degree candidates to have an AS or A Level Advanced Mathematics or equivalent qualification.

This guide is intended for highly gifted students who have achieved or are likely to achieve high grades in Cambridge International A Level Mathematics.
It is assumed that you know everything about the Cambridge International A Level Mathematics curriculum. Students will find that the extra time they spend studying Mathematics will help them improve their understanding of Mathematics A. AS Levels can be taken as part of A Levels or as a standalone qualification. AS Level allows choice of Mathematics: all candidates study Advanced Mathematics 1 and choose either Advanced Probability and Statistics or Advanced Mechanics.
